2. Scope
These terms apply to every use of Block #9. Additional terms may apply to specific parts such as the trading hub, events, merchandise or partnerships. In case of conflict, those specific terms prevail.
Deviating terms of a user or advertiser only apply if the publisher accepts them expressly and in writing.
3. Account and access
An account is personal. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, the confidentiality of your credentials and everything that happens through your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. The publisher may refuse, suspend or terminate an account in case of abuse, fraud, unlawful use or breach of these terms.
4. Free and paid subscriptions

Prices are in euro and include VAT where applicable, unless stated otherwise. The publisher may change prices; changes only take effect from the next renewal period and are announced in advance.
5. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Paid subscriptions are billed annually in advance through our payment provider. A subscription runs for one year and renews automatically for another year.
You can cancel each year up to the day before the renewal date, via your account page or by email. After cancellation you keep access until the end of the current period; no refund is given for the remaining period.
In case of non-payment or a failed charge, access to paid features may be suspended.
6. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period after taking out a paid subscription. If you expressly request immediate access to the digital content, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once delivery starts.
Withdrawal can be notified via redactie@block9.net, quoting your account details.

Parts of the platform may be changed or discontinued; you will be informed in advance of any material limitation of a paid feature.
14. Liability
The publisher is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, missed opportunities, data loss or consequential damages. Direct liability is in any case limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the twelve months before the incident, or to € 250 if you have no paid subscription.
These limitations do not apply in case of intent or wilful recklessness by the publisher, or where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory law.
16. Complaints and corrections
Factual errors can be reported via the corrections page; every report receives a reference number and is corrected publicly where needed. Other complaints can be sent to redactie@block9.net; we respond within 14 days.
