Why volume is high
Volume is concentrated on a single exchange; liquidity elsewhere is thin with wider spreads, which is fine for traders on that venue but a risk for holders.
Peg and use
Redemption runs through institutional clients, so retail arbitrage is indirect. Best used as a trading currency rather than a long-term cash position.
Europe
No MiCA authorisation, so EU platforms cannot freely offer it to retail users.
